A Critical Examination of Qard Al-Hasan Contract in Iranian Banking System Based On Islamic Banking Rules

One of the important differences between Islamic finance system and conventional finance system is sublime station of spiritual motivation apart of material motivations. Indeed, the rich Islamic culture by attention to spiritual motivation, tries to adjust the economic behaviors for covering of economic and social demands. Qard al-hasan can be one of these indications of the Islamic culture.
Nowadays, Qard al-hasan contract is one of the useful contracts in Iranian banking system that is used in mobilization and allocation of funds. This research tries to explain some Jurisprudential and economic challenges in the text and operations of Qard al-hasan contract in Iranian banking system. Eventually, this research suggests solutions for decreasing of these challenges.
