The Economic Status of Islamic Republic of Iran among the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC)

According to the development vision, Iran's achievement of the first place in economic, scientific and technological terms has been defined on the perspective of 1404. In order to achieve the view which has described in this document, having an adequate understanding of the current position is vigorous, planning and future policies should also be made aware of this status. In this study, the economic status of Islamic Republic of Iran among the members of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), has been determined. For this various economic indicators have selected over a specific time period. Hence, the construction of economic indicators for determining the status of one country is not equal, the explanation of these relationships was determined by applying multi-factorial decision-making methods using the TOPSIS method and also Expert-Choice which indicate the relative weight and then specified the status of selected countries. The results of the research show that among the fifty-six countries of the (OIC), in the economic sector, Turkey, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Nigeria are ranked first to fifth respectively ,while Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Comoros, Libya And Syria ranked fifty two to fifty sixth respectively.
