This study aims at evaluating the possibility of applying AI in enhancing the economic equity system in Iran and providing effective methods for its application. Based on the study of the current economic condition, the problem of economic inequality with emphasis on geographical and income based differences is discussed and the issues pertaining to unequal distribution of resources are explained. The paper continues to look at how AI can help in the detection of inequalities, allocation of resources and the prediction of the effects of economic policies on the affected populations. Also, the study establishes the problems of applying AI in Iran, including the absence of technological foundation, competent personnel, and institutional and legal restraints. Last, the study presents the suggestions for solutions to the challenges which include; developing the digital infrastructure, developing skilled personnel, developing legal framework that will govern the data, and encouraging intersectoral collaboration. This research therefore establishes that AI has the potential of reducing on economic disparities given that the right infrastructure and legal requirements are met.
