Integrating energy-related concepts into primary and secondary education is essential for fostering a generation that possesses sufficient awareness of energy resources, consumption patterns, and sustainability. A comprehensive curriculum encompassing both renewable and non-renewable energy sources is necessary to ensure that students develop a thorough and accurate understanding of these critical issues. To achieve this objective, educational institutions should adopt innovative teaching strategies, including hands-on experiments, interactive simulations, and real-world applications. Such approaches not only enhance students’ analytical and critical thinking skills but also increase their awareness of energy consumption and its broader implications. Teachers play a pivotal role in the effective delivery of energy education. Their ability to integrate energy-related topics into the curriculum, together with their participation in professional development programs, can significantly influence students’ understanding of and interest in these subjects. Furthermore, collaboration with community organizations, industry experts, and government agencies can enrich the educational experience by providing practical insights and real-world perspectives. Promoting energy literacy in schools empowers students to make informed decisions regarding energy consumption, thereby contributing to the development of a more sustainable society. Beyond acquiring scientific knowledge, energy education fosters a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship among students, preparing them to navigate an increasingly energy-conscious world.
