Monetary and banking system in the economy of any society, like the vessels of the body, plays a vital role in the proper and needed money in the economy. Thus, in economics and in the religion of Islam, pays special attention to this sector. The objectives of the monetary and banking system can be traced in the original texts of Islam and social management framework. In the present study, the main goals of Islamic banking have been extracted from authoritative religious texts and results of previous research. In the next phase, the measurable indicators which will be published at the international level, for these purposes has been introduced. After determining the indicators of Islamic banking, we check their status in Iran as well as with other Islamic countries elected were compared. The survey shows that unfortunately the Muslim countries monetary system with the goals outlined in the Muslim community (such as ease of access to loans, access to financial services, rates, etc.) are far and the situation is far worse even than their non-Muslim countries. Sadly, according to the indicators that has been studied, Iran is worse in comparison with other Islamic countries and it needs to the necessity of precise reason that in the end tries to explain the weakness in these indicators is discussed.
