The earth is a divine endowment for all generations and ages. In fact, it is impossible to imagine life without exploitation of land. Land use is of inter-temporal and intergenerational nature; therefore, the static welfare economics framework cannot explain its all prosperity aspects. This paper is set up through review of library documents. Land use theories is discussed in the form of both capitalist and communist exploitation. In addition, the importance of land and its use are studied from the perspective of Islamic economics. The existing land laws in Iran are explained, and land use performance is examined using the minimal data on land grabbing cases. Then solutions to eliminate land grabbing, or cruel exploitation of land, including continuous land surveying and monitoring, transparency in information of land use permits and updating land-grabbing penalties are recommended.
