Abstract:   (31 Views)
In recent years, the spread of digital financial technologies has led to a transformation in the way transactions are carried out and changes in the financial behavior patterns of consumers. As one of the most important modern payment tools, digital wallets play an increasing role in users' financial decisions by providing ease of use, higher speed, and reducing dependence on cash. However, the adoption of these tools is not simply a technological process, but is also influenced by users' perception of trust and risks associated with using these services. Therefore, explaining the role of trust and perceived risk in addition to the adoption of digital wallets seems essential for a better understanding of consumers' financial behavior. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the adoption of digital wallets on consumers' financial behavior, emphasizing the mediating role of trust and perceived risk. The present study is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of its method. The statistical population includes active users of digital wallets in Iran who have used these services for at least three months. Data were collected through a standard questionnaire and online through financial platforms, websites, and social networks related to digital payment services and analyzed using structural equation modeling in Smart PLS software. The results showed that digital wallet adoption has a direct and significant effect on trust and perceived risk, and both variables directly affect users' financial behavior. Also, the mediating role of perceived risk in the effect of digital wallet adoption on financial behavior was confirmed, while the mediating role of perceived trust was not confirmed.
