Analysis and visualization of scientific productions of Islamic banking based on the reference database of Web of Science

The purpose of this research is to analyze the scientific production that is related to Islamic banking based on the web.au.science website along with drawing a scientific map of this field. This research is of applied type and has been done with scientometrics. The statistical population of this research is all scientific productions introduced related to Islamic banking in Web.Ao.Science, which is 2893 information records. The findings showed that among the countries, Malaysia ranks first with the production of 899 records, followed by Indonesia with the production of 440 information records and Pakistan with the production of 279 records. Iran is ranked 21 with 34 information records. In universities, the International University of Malaysia is in first place with 220 records, the Universiti Malaya Malaysia with 106 records and the State University of Indonesia with 78 records. The results showed that the authors Hasan MK ranked first with 59 information records and Ali M and Suzuki Y ranked next with 26 and 24 records, respectively. The most scientific productions are related to 2020, when 420 records were recorded in that year. More than 84% of scientific productions were of the type, more than 11% were of the trend type, and about 8% were book chapters. It has been with the same keyword and several times that the density map shows that this keyword has the highest density. |
