Principles Mentioned in the Holy Quran Regarding Business Transactions; Case Study: Concluding and Regulating

Commercial transactions and, consequently, the preparation and conclusion of commercial contracts and documents have long played an important role in the economic growth and development of societies. The Holy Quran has also paid special attention to trade and the principles governing the preparation of commercial and transactional contracts in some verses. The principles raised in the Holy Quran regarding the preparation of commercial contracts are a controversial issue, and clarifying its dimensions and angles requires an independent and comprehensive research. This study, to answer the question of the principles regarding preparation of their formats designing in the holy Quran.The findings show that: the preparation and conclusion of commercial contracts as an economic action is one of the topics to which God has paid special attention in the Holy Quran. Although the purpose of the Quran in proposing such topics is servitude and obedience to God; However, it has discussed its fundamentals, such as: justice-centeredness and fairness, writing down the contract, keeping the promise, consent and benefit of the parties, taking witnesses, and also giving collateral and mortgage in case of impossibility of drafting the contract, which attention to in concluding and drafting domestic and international contracts and documents can pave the way for the dynamism and prosperity of commercial affairs in today's world.
