Islamic Morality and the Business Environment (Morality of Business or Moral Business)

The business environment is the most important in the economic growth of a country. In the economy, and especially in the Islamic economy, this environment must be accompanied by moral considerations. In this paper, we note the status of morality in Islamic economics by looking functional and nonfunctional to morality in business and explain some examples. Moral teachings are divided into two categories. The first category are lessons in order to improve the business environment and economic growth and second category are moral teachings that business is tool to improve morality. The examples of functional approach, according to the moral teachings (particularly Islamic ethics) are economic efficiency, information transparency and build trust and social capital development, etc. Also stay away from greed, and competition unnecessary, some jobs as an abomination jobs, transaction with vile people, swear in the transaction, etc., can look at examples of nonfunctional approach to morality |
