Validation and prioritization of organizational competencies of human resources based on soft skills training in employees of Melli Bank of East Azerbaijan province

Modern trends in e-government and digitization of public administration increase the demands for competencies and training of employees in the field of soft skills. The present study was conducted with the aim of validation and prioritization of organizational competencies of human resources based on soft skills training in employees of Melli Bank of East Azerbaijan province. In terms of the data collection method, the current research was a descriptive-survey type of research and a part of applied research.The statistical population of the research was all the employees of the branches of the Melli Bank of East Azarbayjan Province, numbering 1820 people, and 340 people were selected as a sample through random cluster sampling. The research tools included the soft and hard skills questionnaire of Handarman and Kantner (2018) and the researcher-made questionnaire of organizational competencies based on soft skills. Validation results using t-test showed the average of strategic management competence (26.01), acceptance of diversity and interdisciplinary competence (13.45), systemic thinking competence (12.65), normative competence (13.26), competence Future thinking (13/20), interpersonal competence (10/07), intrapersonal competence (13/88), adaptation competence (10/50), innovation competence (13/70) and professional competence (10/46) ) was larger than the assumed average and this difference was statistically significant (p<0.01). Also, the result of Friedman's test showed that among the organizational competencies of human resources, strategic management competency, interpersonal competency, innovation competency, acceptance of diversity and interdisciplinary competency, normative competency, competence Future thinking, systemic thinking competency, adaptability competency, competency Professionalism and interpersonal competence had the highest rank respectively (p<0.01). Therefore, it can be concluded that the national banks of East Azarbaijan province should take steps to strengthen their organizational performance by using the model of organizational competencies based on the identified soft skills.
