Developing students' leisure time with an approach based on Islamic sports activities in school environments

Leisure time is the time when students are free from compulsory school assignments and following the daily schedule of the academic year, and it is an opportunity to have fun, have fun, and enjoy themselves, which belongs to them, and therefore they should do things that interest them and also cover their physical and psychological needs. The aim of this research is to develop students' leisure time with an approach based on sports activities in school environments. This research is of the qualitative type in terms of its research objective, and of the grounded theory method. Our statistical population included senior education managers who have a background in practical and scientific management in the field of student sports. The sampling method was purposive and the sample size of this study was from education managers in the field of physical education with management experience at different levels until theoretical saturation was achieved and interviews were conducted with them. In this study, this stage was reached by conducting 10 interviews, and coding was carried out in three stages. 73 indicators and 13 components were extracted from the interviews, which included causal factors (individual needs, organizational needs); intervening factors (individual factors, organizational factors); contextual factors (infrastructure, social capacities and support organizations); dimensions and indicators (availability of leisure activities, financial achievement, mental achievement (perceptual) and physical achievement); consequential factors (individual and social) and strategic factors.
