this research aims to validate the selection model for branch managers of Bank Melli Iran. The study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of methodology. The statistical population included all key stakeholders involved in the selection of branch managers of Bank Melli Iran (members of the committees for selection and appointment of branch managers), totaling 961 individuals. The sample size was estimated at 275 using Cochran's formula and selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire. The research variables were tested using structural equation modeling with PLS3 and SPSS software. Results indicated that at a 99% confidence level, there is a positive and significant relationship between the components and indicators of the selection model for Bank Melli Iran’s branch managers, and all indicators demonstrated good explanatory power. Overall, the findings suggest that the presented model has high scientific and practical validity and can be employed as a reliable and effective framework in the processes of selecting and appointing managers. This model, by confirming the positive and significant relationships among various components and indicators, enables a precise and comprehensive assessment of the competencies and characteristics required for managers, thereby contributing to the improvement of branch management quality and the enhancement of decision-making effectiveness within the bank.
